Let It Goat!

Hey guys, its Alex with a goat obsessed post!

A goat obsessed post? I am not joking, who can blame me really, goats are so cool, even celebrities have collaborated with them likes of Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus, Who wouldn't love them?

Anyway, this post is probably not what you were expecting, of all things to post about, goats would have been your last guess...Goats are cute, funny and Celebrities in their own right..

I recently read an article about a company called Chuckling Goat, they provide skin care products!
My reaction to this brand is YES, YES, Amazing!!

I would strongly recommend ordering from their product ranges, my skin after 4-5 days of use using their skin lotion has become smoother, looks brighter, pores are less apparent, my skin just looks so much healthier, I was so surprised on the outcome, I break out quite frequently so its made a significant difference to the overall health of my face.

So what about the product you ask, I ordered a Cleanser Soap and Lotion for break outs; This is directly grabbed from the website about this treatment specifically:-
Our award-winning skincare is designed to nourish your skin with natural ingredients including our own raw goats milk , live culture kefir, honey, oatmeal, herbs, roots, and aromatherapy essential oils. Our products are all free from any nasty dyes, perfumes, parabens, petrochemicals or phthalates.
For serious or persistent skin conditions, we recommend that you team our healing skincare with a 21-day course of our powerful live-culture kefir.
Use the cleanser daily instead of your usual soap, on face, hands and body. Follow with a twice-daily application of the lotion, anywhere it’s needed. Go for one soothing bath every three days or so. Unlike steroid creams, our lotion will not thin or harm the skin, and can be used as long as you like, on scalp, face and body.
To help you nurture your skin from the inside, we also recommend that you drink 1/3 of a pint daily of our live culture raw goats milk kefir.
Our lovely nostalgic farm packaging was designed by local artist Helen Elliott. All these skincare products are also available separately.

Graduation

Hello internet, April here,
This week were chatting through the hell, that is prepping for your graduation!!! dun dun durrrr..

'Its not actually hell, i am definitely over exaggerating'

This is basically a diary of how i have dealt with the run up/day after graduation!

Me looking fancy pants

Outfit

This is my outfit choice, im sorry im a Topshop feied!
Crep flippy dress- £30
necklace-£10
leather cream sandles- £30

Hair & Beauty

As my natural hair is still quite short i decided to don my hair extensions, this one process took me forever to complete, i not only had to wash the extensions, i had to repair a few clips and then curl! This whole process took about 4-5 hours...i'm so glad i did this the day before. By curling the hair in tight curls a day before, it allows the hair to naturally 'drop' and give an overall better/natural look
As for makeup, i kept it quite simple/ natural.

Makeup Used;
Natural Collection concealer
Benefit Porefessional
Body Shop BB cream
Bare Minerals powder foundation
Bare Minerals powder concealer
Benefit mix pallet blusher
Topshop pink blusher
Mally eye shadow
Benefit liquid eye liner
Benefit their real mascara
Tanya Burr lipgloss
Ignore the derpy face

Flats Vs Heels

For me personally i never wear heels unless the event has guaranteed seating, and because i'm a tall person anyway i've never really needed to have to wear them. The thought of wearing heels for the whole day being in continuous pain really doesn't appeal to me so flats are my obvious choice, you deserve a medal if you can deal with heel for long periods of time. There is too much pressure for me to go on stage and not fall over, is just far too much for me to handle

The First World Problem of Storing Your iPhone

Lots of people kept their phone on them and stored them in either pockets or bras, but on the basis that i had no pockets and my chest is big enough without a phone sticking out too i opted to just give my parents my hand bag.

Do I Victory Dance on stage?

Not only did i have the pressure of not falling over on stage but we also had a 'distinguished guest' Mr. Gok Wan..receiving an honorary doctorate  sitting right at the front of the stage watching everyone walk past...AHHHHGH

PRESSURE to look GOOD

Now Dr Gok looks fabulous

There was also some stand out people doing a little victory dances across the stage, one lad choosing to take a selfie with the audience, then with the dean, causing the whole room to go in a fit of giggles, i on the other hand played it safe and chose to do i quick turn  and wave at the end of the stage for my parents to take a picture/ video

After Party Shindig

Us girlies decided to make the most of being back in birmingham and stayed in a travelodge together (£13 each, can't really go wrong with that tbh) on broad street,  home to all the best pubs/restaurants and clubs all of which we took full advantage of :)

Can't go wrong with buy one get one free cocktails in revolution

ps) remember to take headache tablets with you in your travel bag... we were all a bit worse for wear the day after the night before

Interview Time!

I have been To a Few Interviews already and have more soon :s But I am young and want to look professional but not like I am dressing as if i'm aged 40!
* If your going for retail it might be worth wearing something they sell so it looks like you appreciate and follow the brand/company.

To help I have selected a selection of looks from different stores.

Simple Dress Suit in a pop pink makes it young and fresh, I chose to style it with Pink and whites to make it brighter and hopefully give a good impression to the interviewer! Sandals weren't my first choice but they are white and it could be a choice if it was summer.

Pink Wrap Crepe Dress £35.00, Petite Ivory Waterfall Jacket £35.00, Pale Pink Large Tab Tote Bag £28.00, Head Over Heels Hershie White Sandal£39.00
Total Value: £137

A classic Tailored look with a new fresh Urban vibe I would style it with a simple leather tote bag to make the full look professional!

Jacquard-weave jacket £29.99, Figure-fit blouse£14.99, Leather shoes£29.9,8 Slacks £14.99

Total value: £89.18

Layered Lady of look, I wanted to style a look maybe for the autumn where you will need a jumper, very minimalist colours but with the floral dress under neath it gives it something special and it will act as a pencil skirt.

Grey Slouch Curve Hem Crop Jumper £14.99, White Short Sleeve Plain Shirt £12.99, White Floral Pastel Bodycon Dress £12.00, Grey Double Flap Snakeskin Panel Satchel £17.99, Grey Pointed Block Heels £39.99

Overall value: £97.96

This is probably something I would wear to interview, that shirt could go with a pencil skirt or shorts or joggers. Duster Coats are really in shops and I would pop one over the top just to keep me warm, you can get some smart ones to the one bellow is more kaftan/kimono but styles correctly I think would make a great impression!
Mila Stripe Crop Boxy Shirt £14.00, Mallory Longline Kimono £22.00, Alice Woven Crepe Tailored Luxe Joggers £25.00, Ashleigh Brogue Detail Lace Up Flat Shoe £25.00.

Overall Value: £86.00

I hope this inspires you, don't be scared of colour or something you wouldn't usually wear!
